Coral Reef Conservation Program

The process of natural repair or rehabilitation of coral reefs whose habitat conditions have been damaged is relatively very long and requires environmental conditions that are completely suitable and not disturbed by human activities. Efforts to increase the quantity and quality of coral reef ecosystems quickly can be done by replanting using coral transplant techniques. The coral reef planting program is carried out through community service activities. The purpose of this activity is to provide habitat and rehabilitate coral reef ecosystems. In addition, coral reefs are ecologically defined as a place for animal and plant organisms to find food and take shelter. Therefore, together with SMA Karangturi Semarang, we carry out coral cultivation which is useful for protecting marine biota.

Educational activities carried out by Quicksilver Cruise Bali together with Karangturi High School in the framework of coral reef transplantation at Quicksilver Marine Park located in Nusa Penida Bali. The benefits carried out in the process of planting coral reefs are as a place to live and breed thousands of species of fish, animals, plants and other seafood that contain high protein. In addition, the purpose of holding educational activities by Quicksilver Cruise Bali is to preserve marine life as well as coral reefs.

The implementation of coral reef planting carried out by Quicksilver Cruise Bali can have a positive impact on the preservation of natural resources (marine life and coral reefs) for residents around Nusa Penida Bali. The positive impacts of the educational activities and planting of coral reefs carried out by Quicksilver Cruise Bali include improving marine ecosystems, increasing biodiversity which has an impact on increasing fish populations so that people who have jobs as fishermen can be more productive.
